Dawid Hamera, our certified IB Chemistry teacher and founder of Science Arena, is currently a fourth-year medical student at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. He has been working with IB Chemistry for over four years. Dawid completed the IB Diploma Programme at I High School No. 2 in Szczecin in 2019, where he began his journey with chemistry. After taking a gap year, he decided to study medicine and had to retake his exams as he had finished high school with Chemistry SL. After a year of self-study, he achieved the highest possible grade—a 7—in Chemistry HL on the International Baccalaureate exam. You will find his exam results attached.
After finishing high school, he began offering individual tutoring sessions, preparing students from all over Poland for the IB Chemistry exam. Eventually, he received a proposal to teach IB Chemistry at SVS Leonarda Private High School in Szczecin, where he obtained his certification and continues to work to this day.
In his free time, between studying and work, he enjoys playing tennis and reading books, particularly those by Czech authors.
As a Gold award winner in the 2024 British Biology Olympiad and a Silver medalist in the 2023 International Biology Olympiad, I have not only excelled academically in biology but also developed effective strategies to share with students. My innovative mnemonics, memory techniques, and unique note-taking approach have enhanced my learning, helping me achieve a 7 in IB Biology HL in May 2024 and three A*s in GCSE Cambridge Triple Sciences.
My approach goes beyond learning; it reshapes how you think about studying. Over the years, I've taught biology, chemistry, and English, helping students overcome mental blocks and achieve real results. My methods are effective because they are based on practical, proven strategies that reduce revision stress and make learning more intuitive.
These techniques have not only improved grades but also helped me secure a place in the English divisions of top Polish medical programs, including those in Wroclaw, Gdansk, Silesia, Warsaw, Bialystok, and Lodz.

Wiktoria Jóźwicka is currently an Astronomy student at Nicolaus Copernicus University. She completed the IB Diploma Programme at High School No. 2 in Szczecin in 2024, where she nurtured her interest in both physics and astronomy, ultimately earning a score of 7—the highest possible grade—in the Physics HL exam. With a strong foundation in physics, astronomy, and tutoring experience, Wiktoria now brings her expertise and enthusiasm to her role as an online tutor, helping students deepen their understanding of these subjects and guiding them on their educational journey.
Beyond her studies, Wiktoria is passionate about programming and has developed several programs and apps. She is also passionate about learning new languages, with a current focus on Mandarin Chinese.
When she's not studying or working, Wiktoria enjoys reading, going for walks, and experimenting with new recipes, particularly those involving Asian cuisine.
Sean is an experienced AS/A Level Chemistry tutor currently pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the National University of Singapore. He attained the highest possible score in the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level) examinations in 2020. Additionally, he has been consistently achieving an A in A Level Chemistry throughout the two years.
Since 2020, Sean has been providing one-on-one and group tuition for A Level students taking Chemistry, teaching over 100 students across the past four years. He is also the co-founder and head of the Chemistry Department at Macro Academy, a tuition center based in Singapore, where he designs the two-year A Level Chemistry curriculum and creates customized worksheets and notes for optimal learning.
A passionate Chemistry learner and educator, Sean is particularly enthusiastic about Organic Chemistry but believes that many textbooks and materials fail to help students visualize and appreciate the abstract concepts taught in A Level Chemistry.
This inspired him to found @yourchemistrypal.sg, an Instagram account dedicated to making A Level Chemistry content more digestible and enjoyable through the use of AI celebrities and animations. With a following of 150,000, the account is a testament to his ability to engage and inspire students in innovative ways.
